Who is the client?

Worcester based Sienna X began as a spray tan cubicle company in 2004, starting with the distribution of their Pop Up Cubicle and expanding into spray tanning equipment and then later retail products.

They have achieved a phenomenal growth to become a major force in the spray tanning industry.

Sienna X believes that a gorgeous tan should not come at the risk of your health, with the dangers of skin damage that can result from over exposure to UVA/B rays.

What was the brief?

Sienna X approached Prominent to establish a high media profile to help with the expansion of their products and services.

What did Prominent do?

Prominent put together a campaign that targets beauty therapists and consumer buyers.

Sienna X was featured in the regional press, including the Express and Star and Birmingham Post, promoting the launch of their new facilities, such as a bridal service.

We targeted women's consumer media using competitions and samples, for example Sienna X products appeared in a competition in Love It magazine and were picked as a 'Hot Buy' in Look magazine.

We also targeted health and beauty media, such as Health Club magazine, where Sienna X's spray tanning cubicle was featured as a must have product for spray tanners.

And by using Sun Awareness Week to talk about the advantages of spray tanning, Sienna X was established as an industry expert.

We arranged for Sienna X to take over the famous Radio 1 Live Lounge to spray tan Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills and his team live on air!

Scott Mills had previously announced on air to the nation his fears about spray tanning and turning orange, but soon changed his mind after experiencing a Sienna X spray tan during his show. He was followed by Producer Becky from the Scott Mills Show, the One Who Doesn't Speak and even Greg James.

Last but not least, we introduced Sienna X to Strictly Come Dancing, where they gave the contestants a spray tan every week so that they could look their best for the show!
