Kings Norton based Data Power Ltd have been running their successful business for seven years - specialising in Network Infrastructure, Electrical Design and Installation, Data Centre Design and Build, plus Air Conditioning, Ventilation and Heating.

What was the brief?

They approached us to help them to introduce a regular communication channel where they could speak to their existing customers about company news and services and to promote offers.

What did Prominent do?

Our designers set up an eshot template with a design scheme to complement Data Power's existing corporate identity and website: www.datapowerlimited.co.uk.

The monthly newsletter copy was written by us, after liaising with our client, - and a template was created for them, which included case studies and links to the their website.

We then utilised our internal e-marketing software to distribute the newsletter to their customer base.

Our system enables us to provide to the client a full and complete breakdown of the data in respect of the e-shot, including newsletter's 'opens', 'clicks', 'bounces' and 'shares' to enable us to review its success.

To complement the above, we have also created a public relations strategy to support our digital service, to help to raise their brand awareness, support the new service launches and create new business leads.

Our strategy included targeting regional and specific trade media. This has proved to be successful, and Data Power has benefited from news coverage in the Express and Star, Birmingham Mail and Birmingham Post - as well as Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Magazine, Heating & Ventilation News and Plumbing Park Magazine.
