E&S PicWho is the client?

They offer total solutions, from concept to completion, and their services include Consultancy, Product Development, Manufacturing, Distribution and Logistics and Project Management.

They use manufacturing processes that include press work, welding, assembly, fabrication and tube manipulation.

What was the brief?

Bird Stevens asked Prominent to assist with the management of an event that they were attending, The UK's Subcontracting & Manufacturing Technolobs bannergy Show, SubCon 2010.

SubCon is an annual show dedicated to subcontracting, where those in the manufacturing industry come together to network, compare and discuss everything manufacturing based from all across the country.

It was the first time that Bird Steven had a presence at SubCon, which takes place at the NEC in Birmingham.

What did Prominent do?

The team at Prominent used their event management skills prior to the event to manage the literature and stands that were featured by Bird Stevens at SubCon, as well as their media profile.

We created a press pack that included detailed articles about the company history, the company profile, recent news and some branded stationary. Our team of designers used their creativity to put this together to coincide with the Bird Steven's image.

They also designed and printed pop up banners, displaying both Bird Stevens services and the different products that their horticultural branch offers (see bottom right).

We ensured that all of the literature and design emphasised the fact that Bird Stevens were the first winner of the Express and Star Manufacturing Awards, in association with the Manufacturing Advisory Service West Midlands (MAS-WM).

We were also present on the day of the event to assist with the preparation and greeting SubCon attendees.
